Hi all,

I do have a problem with my monitor in Fedora 19 (before in Fedora 17, but I didnt care too much).

Using the standard Nouveau driver, the maximum resolution I can use is 1600 x 1200, it does not recognize my monitor (named as "build in monitor").

When I install the proprietary NVIDIA drivers, using

yum install akmod-nvidia
I can use my monitor on the correct resolution (1920x1200, Dell U2412M). However the display is flickering (especially visible on large grey areas such as this website). I've tried several things the last hours / days, but cant find a solution. Any help is really appreciated. Output of xrandr
xrandr: Failed to get size of gamma for output default
Screen 0: minimum 640 x 480, current 1600 x 1200, maximum 1600 x 1200
default connected primary 1600x1200+0+0 0mm x 0mm

   640x480 0.0

Output of lspci |grep -i VGA

Thanks in advance
