ntfs partition corrupted after resizing with anaconda for installation of fedora 18

I have had two partitions on my hard-disk, one drive "C" which has windows 8 and the other is drive "D" and both of them are NTFS and has around 40GB size each. Today I tried to install fedora 18 from USB for which I re-sized the "D" drive, which is I guess "/dev/sda2", with anaconda to free up some space for installation of fedora.

I encountered problems during installation and I came to know that I am not allocating sufficient space to fedora partition and after allocating enough space I was able to successfully install fedora 18.

Now fedora shows that I have two drives one "40GB Volume" and the other "30GB Volume". The "40GB Volume" works fine because no re-sizing was done to that drive and it has windows 8. "30GB Volume", /dev/sda2, is in-accessible and I need to know if it is possible to fix it and if it is possible then how to fix it?. When I try to open "30GB Volume" I get Following Error:

The device '/dev/sda2' doesn't seem to have a valid NTFS.
Maybe the wrong device is used? Or the whole disk instead of a
partition (e.g. /dev/sda, not /dev/sda1)? Or the other way around?
