I prepare an update of my Fedora17 to Fedora19 with fedup-cli.

After I read this documentation http: //fedoraproject.org/wiki/FedUp, one item is not clear enough for me.

  • Can I still use 'KEYTABLE=BE-latin1' in /boot/efi/EFI/redhat/grub.cfg? In the documentation, the KEYTABLE isn't included in the 'GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX' line. There is just a small note: "non-us keymaps and languages. Need to write docs on how to figure out the vconsole lang and keymap args" and I can not find specific documentation about grub2-efi and its configuration.

BTW: is it safe to upgrade directly from F17 to F19 with cmd: sudo fedup-cli --network 19?

Thanks in advance for your advice.

I can't speak to keymaps, but I'm reasonably confident that you must upgrade one release at a time; ie f17->f18->f19 . The lack of KEYTABLE in the wiki page might be because it is just an example.

If it's just an example, I'll assume that the syntax for KEYTABLE was not changed.
