I'm currently using the bumblebee project to enable Nvidia optimus and everything is working like it should. My question is if it's possible to just use the nvidia driver instead of hybrid GPU? Here is the output of lspci | grep VGA

0:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation 2nd Generation Core Processor Family Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 09)

01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GF119M [GeForce 610M] (rev ff)

Sometime you can find an option in your computer BIOS in wich you can activate the nVidia Chipset, so the computer only use the nVidia Graphics.

Thanks for the reply. There was no option for this in the BIOS and I know what you mean. I have it on my stationary computer as well.
