Error "ata1.00: failed to enable AA" at boot time on Fedora 18

I'm getting following error on Lenovo Z580 hardware for Fedora 18 at boot time.

ata1.00: failed to enable AA (error_mask = 0x1)
ata1.00: failed to enable AA (error_mask = 0x1)

What do these error mean & how can I fix it?

It might indicate a problem with your drive or storage controller. Look at the output of smartctl -a /dev/sda . If you need help interpreting it, please update your question with the output in a code block.

There seem to be something improper in kernel, I guess! People running other GNU/Linux distros having this issue as well.
