does fedora support amd socket mainboard

My PC mainboard is asrock AMD socket AM3+ , I find the fedora system require below

Recommended installation requirements

64-bit Intel-compatible PC
1GB memory (RAM)
10GB disk space / storage

So My PC cannot install Fedora , is it?

finally I bought Intel socket main board and Intel CPU, installed Fedora 18 and it work fine.

AMD based computers are "Intel-compatible" so it would have worked fine on your old system too.

Actually the 64 bit instructions used by Intel processors were designed by AMD.
