Hey all, I just wondered if theres any way to remove GRUB?

Asking since I am currently dual-booting and I want to remove Fedora all together until I get a new HDD to only hold fedora.

So what I want to do is to remove GRUB and fedora all together now and then reinstall them later with a new disk.

I'm assuming you're dual-booting with Windows.

First of all, remove your Fedora partition from the drive. Or, you can leave it and rsync it later onto your new hard drive.

Second, go here and sign up for the non-commercial version of EasyBCD.

Once you have the program downloaded and installed (in Windows), open it. Click on "BCD Deployment", then click "Write MBR".

should be added that this did not work as intended but just changing the boot drive order solved my issues since GRUB and windows bootloader was installed on separate disks
