Hi all

when I am on the page after clicking on the link sent by my friend, nothing happened... I can't download the .rar file ...

So is it a problem with the Google drive ? or from my system if yes : what should I do to fix it ?

thanks in advance

thanks for the quick reply but the only saving option is "save page as..." which saves it in html file (i even tried to name it as .rar) but nothing works...

could it be a problem with the original file called : name.part1.rar

What does this downloaded file contain? Is it an HTML page, or is the downloaded file just called something.html? I can download rar files just fine using firefox.

Does this work for you: Right click > "save link as"

You will then need to install unrar from rpmfusion to extract the files.

Thanks FranciscoD for your time. The problem is fixed, the person changed the settings of the link make it private only which was the reason why I couldn't access it.
