Hey all!

I used this guide that hhlp wrote: https://ask.fedoraproject.org/question/10603/f18-how-to-install-nvidia-drivers/

Now I wonder is there any way (short of reinstalling fedora from the start) to remove nvidia, since stuff like chrome worked before it was installed but not refuses?

Both of the above answers ignore the fact that the asterisk has to be escaped to avoid it being expanded by the shell. Removing all of the nVidia stuff can be done with one command as root:

yum remove *nvidia*

Then reboot. (There's supposed to be a backslash before each asterisk, but the forum software is removing them.)

run yum list installed *nvidia* and run sudo yum remove to remove them.
