I'm running the current stable release of fedora and am facing an issue regarding remote desktop. I have two (identical) monitors hanging off a single video card and when i'm in fedora, each monitor displays a discrete desktop, so when i maximise a window, it maximises on that monitor only. For work i remotely connect to a windows server 2012 terminal server. When i do this from windows 7 the behaviour remains, when I do it from fedora, it spans the desktop across both monitors and when windows are maximised, they spread to cover both screens. I want, really want to use fedora as the base system I boot form as windows is so full of bloatware it takes 15-20 minutes to start up, whereas fedor has a functional desktop in under 3. Is there a switch i'm missing in rdesktop that will correctly span the monitors or an alternate rdp program i can use to solve this particular issue. I'll admit it's quite minor but rather irritating.
