Simple Scan request confirmation from scanner
Hello guys,
A friend of mine open a new ofiices, so he wandet Linux.
I have installed all of the office computers Fedora with Cinnamon desktop.
All is good! We connected devices as printers and scanners. Everything works okay.
But only one soft problem. The scanner is accessed by network, and everytime when you start scan with Simple Scan, there's confirmation needed by the scanner keyboard. Everytime we need to hit #1 to continue.
Can we bypass this? With the USB there's no such problem.
I will help if we know the manufacture and model of your scanner, it sounds to me it is a configuration on your scanner, I have use simple scan with network scanners and not need to do the confirmation.

On the manual they mention you need a to create a scan profile, and select it when you scan to your computer, so I think it is that there is no default profile that must be set or remove the profiles so it do not ask for it. But that is on your printer nothing to do with simplescan it mention it when you use web scanning check page 91 and 92
I found printer settings, but cannot go to the Scan Profile Java support needed. Enable Java on your browser or click here to download Java. Still cannot enable java on browser. I am stuck here. And don't have local access to the scanner.
You need to install Oracle Java on you machine and allow it on your browser.
