can you give us /proc/cpuinfo and post a "top -c " output here ( press "1" before you copy it ) ?

Could be a video driver problem... I mean if it's specific to graphics interface...

I have it installed on a Ryzen 2700x along side to Ubuntu 19.04 and 18.10 no difference on performance. as other suggest it can be a GPU driver problem, I have a ATI RX570, so I don't have any driver installed it works fine out of the box. please give us more info.

@acrodaniel Have a nice day!

If you have current service status, problems, or improvements, you can add a detailed question to get a good answer.

 # systemctl status

Check the current service status and stop if unnecessary service is running.

You can install glances to see the system as a whole and see the problem. You can use top to determine the current load status as @rdtcustomercare comment

Depending on your system configuration and services, Fedora has more advanced features.

This is a separate issue from having a quick boot and response. The response characteristics may vary depending on the stability and how the administrator configures the service settings.

Comparing the advantages and disadvantages of other operating systems is another type of problem. Fedora is the fastest adopter of leading technology and systems, and it is Linux that tries the fastest technology adoption compared to other operating systems.
