Fedora server blocking incoming prints

asked 2019-01-28 10:24:32 -0500

hi, Created a clone of a working fedora 28 server for CUPS. Print jobs are sent via a solaris 10 server to here. But it is not accepting any connections, so the solaris print queue can't see the fedora printers.

Firewalld is disabled. CUPS works fine and prints. Can't see anything different. Any help gratefully received!

Can you elaborate on cups config and do you see any issue in selinux logs

My first guess would be selinux.

I would tail the audit log while trying to send a print job..

tail -f /var/log/audit/audit.log | grep -i denied

HI, I did as suggested and nothing appeared in the audit.log. From the server sending the print job, it returns this: ukplnhinte01: service-unavailable
