Fedora 29 pptp VPN client hangs up

Hi,

I got a pptp vpn server on current debian stretch. VPN connection works from an Android 8 mobile and from a Windows 10 PC. Connection does not work from an Android 6 tablet.

When I try from current Fedora 29 the connection timeouts waiting Config-Requests. Any ideas what I can try?

[root@fedo ~]# pptpsetup --create pptp1 --server myvserver --username weberjn --password xxx --encrypt --start

As this was on Raspberry Pi, I then tried with a Raspian stretch image instead of the Fedora image.

With Raspbian the VPN connection worked immediately, so looks like this is an incompatibility between Fedora's pptp client and Debian's server.
