How do I install an asterisk in F29? [closed]

How do I install an asterisk in F29? There seems to be a problem with the compile installation process, and the installation of dnf seems to be unstable. Compiled installations tend to conflict with installations through dnf.

There are two ways to install an asterisk. ----- I ask questions and answer myself.

A. It can be install it using dnf supported by F29 and Compile installation - download asterisk related programs, and install necessary programs.

B. You can install and use an asterisk in DB, and it can be good work without DB like file via voicemail. You also need to configure your firewall to use and allow Asterisk.

 5060/tcp, 5060/udp, 5061/tcp, 5061/udp, 4569/udp, 5038/tcp, 10000-20000/udp

C. The default configuration is available via the sip protocol through extensions.conf and sip.conf.

It can be made more extensible, can be a good Internet switch like a IPBX. if you configure it nicely, and can provide more scalable services. .

D. Please note the following during installation:

Because it requires installation and support of numerous programs, related setting and usage are such. You can use the asterisk well through compile installation in F29. However, there is a possibility that the asterisk program is installed during the process of installing related programs through dnf during the installation process.

image description

Fedora29 - Stable Asterisk - 15.7.1 / 15.7.2 [15.x Stable in Fedora29] But New Asterisk 16.X...unstable to me, so...I think that it's a need time to solve other error.

[root@masi asterisk]# uname -ar Linux masi 4.20.3-200.fc29.x86_64 #1 SMP Thu Jan 17 15:19:35 UTC 2019 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Therefore, it is recommended to install the program while checking to avoid duplication during the compilation process.

In conclusion, I tested the asterisk server program to run and stable setup a lot of time to spend for Fedora 29. Among these problems, I can confirm the problem of automatic installation through dnf and conflicts during compilation installation.

In particular, if the combination of general installation and compile installation through dnf is complicated, there is a problem that the installation contents are not smooth. In some cases, even if a compilation installation process is performed, if a part of dnf is installed, the corresponding program must be manually removed.

As far as this service is concerned, I thought it was difficult to solve the problems that arise during the installation process through dnf. And an asterisk can provide great service and Fedora stability can provide a nice voip service.
