Mouse cursor lagging in Fedora 13

For many years, I have used Fedora 13 on a few computers of my customer, without problems. A few months ago I installed Fedora 13 on modern PC. The problem is that after some time, after power on, mouse cursor starts to lag. It does not freeze, it just lags. My customer wants me to solve this problem because lagging mouse pointer is annoying for his employee. They tested a few USB mice with the same problem. What could cause mouse pointer lagging, and how to solve this problem?

Thanks in advance for your help.

PS. I used old Fedora 13, because of some drivers which are abandoned and do not work with modern Fedoras.

Wrong choice of operating system. Fedora 13 is dead. It seems irresponsible to install Fedora 13 in 2019, unless we are talking about something like an always offline machine or so...

Can you check the status of customer's F13 Server

  lsusb | grep usb

if you have a network connection? I'll see the status and answer any further questions. If you are not comfortable with it, you can use the ps2 to usb converter and ps2 mouse

The motherboard supports both usb2.0 and usb3.0. Try adjusting the usb setting in the motherboard bios setting and adjust the mouse connection to check the usb3.0 and usb2.0 ports for defects.

It seems that the motherboard and the mouse are not in harmony with the OS system rather than the hardware problem. I have an IBM AIX server with F12.

If you are having trouble with USB compatibility mode, you may be able to solve the problem using a conversion device such as NEXT-PS2 USB to PS2. Alternatively, you can try using a mouse with a built-in driver.
