as far as I know, NVIDIA drivers should re-compile each time I upgrade kernel. But since a while time ago, each time I upgrade kernel and kernel-headers, my graphical-target won't start until I re-install the drivers.

Can you help debugging this in order to be able to upgrade kernel normally?

Did you use dkms to install the original driver, or did you use an rpm to install? More information would be very useful to anyone who wants to try to form an answer for you.

If you use nvidia drivers you should not have that issue as they use akmod that will recompile it when new kernel is installed for more information on akmods look at In case you are using Nvidia provided kernel modules then you need to wait until they update the kernel module to upgrate your kernel.

Open Gnome Software -> Software -> Software Repositories

Enable the following repo

RPM Fusion for Fedora 29 - Nonfree - NVIDIA Driver
