Cannot add storage to Fedora
I recently installed Fedora 29 alongside Windows 10 (dual-boot) and allocated 20 GB to Linux. Now I need more storage but am unable to fix this.
After several hours of Google I gained some knowledge about how to shrink the Windows partition and extend the Linux one. I booted into SystemRescueCD from a USB and shrunk the Windows partition. Both /dev/sda4 and /dev/sda6 had the lock icon next to them (note that the image provided is from Fedora, not LiveRescueCD), but after deactivating /dev/sda6 both locks disappeared. I was then able to resize the extended partition (/dev/sda4). This had the result of the unallocated space getting beneath the extended partition. I could then extend either /dev/sda5 (/boot) or /dev/sda6 (fedora).
At first I tried resizing /dev/sda6, but after rebooting into Fedora I still had the same amount of storage as before. Then I tried booting into LiveRescueCD once more and allocating the space to /dev/sda5 instead, but to no avail -- Fedora still had no more storage available.
The problem seems to be that I have to allocate the storage to the root partition, but it is nowhere to be found in GParted. When I run the command "df -h" in the terminal however, it is visible, and you can see that it has no storage left. Terminal output.
What do I have to do to allocate the storage to Fedora?
Thank you in advance.
