Belkin Wifi USB adapter model: f9l1001v1 Fedora 29 64 bit: Wifi says incorrect password when proper password is entered. edit:

Thanks. I have used the adapter with this router using another Linux Distribution without any problem. I believe Live DVD works too. If I remember correctly. A short term solution for me is to used Ethernet. I will continue to work on this.

Welcome to ask.fedora! I'm not familiar with your adapter, but I do know that all it does is send and receive data; if your WiFi needs a password, it's the router that's asking, not the adapter, and that passwords are case sensitive. If your software can be set to show your password (some can, some can't) set it that way so that you can make sure there aren't any typos or capitalization issues. If not, open up a text editor such as gedit, type the password there and after you'e sure it's right, copy it and paste it into the password box. If that doesn't work and you're sure the password's right, it may be an issue with the router, and you'll probably need to talk to their tech support. Good luck, and please keep us informed,
