Dear All,

I am new bee to start with Fedora OS, After fresh installation and update command (Updated approx. 900MB) I can use my Fedora perfectly but required Ethernet interface for internet connection.

I have searched and follow different steps to install Realtek 8821ae WiFi driver but it doesn't work. Even on Realtek website (at Download page) they shows only Windows driver!!!!?

I have lenovo make laptop and Realtek 8821ae chipset, It would be great help If somebody did it and guide me. Could you guide me for this?

Thanks Deep

If you cannot find the driver, either buy an usb wifi stick for cheap or better yet use ethernet. wifi is definitively not worth the hassle of wasting time looking for dodgy drivers.

Wchich version of Fedora are you use? Did you have installed NetworkManager-wifi? Reboot PC. After installation type in console:

nmcli d sh

Is your wifi-card visible? Then you can install NetworkManager-tui packet and try to configure connection by:

I have the same chipset and woks good :)

You should install free nonfree repositories then install akmod and akmod-wl, you also need kernel devel package. Once you have install repositories following their instructions to do so, you need to do:

sudo install kernel-devel akmod akmod-wl

Good Luck

wl is Broadcom's, not Realtek's driver.

It should be broadcom-wl, thanks for the correction
