Cannot set Ctrl+Alt+T as custom shortcut, other similar shortcuts are fine

I had mapped Ctr+Alt+T to gnome-terminal, and it stopped working. The shortcut was still there in Settings > Keyboard. When I deleted it and tried to reset it with "Set Shortcut", the "Set Custom Shortcut" window just kept waiting for my input. Other similar shortcuts, such as "Shift+Ctrl+T" or "Ctrl+Alt+Y" work just fine.

There is something funny going on. Ctrl+Alt+T can be set for the pre-existing shortcuts. And a moment ago, I could set it to "Super+Right" (which conflicted with "View split on right"), now I cannot any more.

And the same way the error came, the error went... Strange.
