I am having problems with hanging on shutdown since I took the update to Fedora 28, installed earlier this week.

Linux seneca 4.18.14-200.fc28.x86_64 #1 SMP Mon Oct 15 13:16:27 UTC 2018 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

I am seeing this message on shutdown:

A stop job is running for User Manager for UID 42

UID 42 is Gnome Display Manager, in which case I think this is something to do with the nvidia drivers (based on some googling). I had a lot of pain installing those. I tried the ones from the nvidia site first, and they failed when trying to install DKMS (with a compiler error of all things). I then installed from the Fedora repo. Machine boots fine. I can't find anything in journalctl.
