Hi, I have this problem: I cannot use Gnome Terminal anymore. So I use xterm.

I've regenerated locales and I have the correct locale; Launching Gnome Terminal from xterm doesn't show any error

Any hint?

I remember I've dealt with it after some system upgrade by reinstalling some locale packages. Run as root journalctl -eb0 right after trying to open Gnome Terminal and some useful logs should be there.

I think, when I logged in as my regular user in tty2 (Ctrl+Alt+F2), some error messages pointed me into the right direction.
