Whenever I press the 'End' key in Fedora 28, it takes a screen shot. I doesn't matter whether I have firefox or a terminal open. Has anyone else seen this problem?

That is most likely configured that way. Check the settings -> keyboard and see which key would trigger screenshot. Exact details depend on your desktop environment.

Thanks for your answer. It's a fresh install. I have not configured any new keyboard short cuts. I can't post the screen shots of the settings as I don't have 60 points.

If I go into Settings > Region & Language > Select current keyboard > Select keyboard icon. If I bring that up and press the Print Scr key, the 'End' key flashes on the 'virtual keyboard'

I have a very old keyboard, 90s era. It's not a well known brand either 'Mitsumi'. But on the 'virtual keyboard', all of the keys match what I have on the real keyboard, so it seems to have picked it up correctly.

It looks like you have to chose between 1) get a newer keyboard, or 2) learn how to change the keyboard maps.

I quite like the keyboard with its clicky-clacky keys :) I don't know how to change keyboard maps. I will look into that. Thanks for your help.

Using this keyboard with Windows 7 also takes screen shots, so it is not OS specific issue.
