No Sound after Compiling WiFi Driver
I recently installed Fedora 28, a fresh install. My brand new Lenovo reported there was no WiFi card. Troubleshooting, I found https://ask.fedoraproject.org/en/ques... and followed the instructions. After downloading, compiling and installing the driver, it still didn't work.
Then I found advice on an Ubuntu forum (https://askubuntu.com/questions/10712...) that after completing all the steps you hand to modify your BIOS to all unsigned drivers to load. This is in the BIOS > SECURITY menu. After modifying the BIOS, the WiFi worked great.
However, my sound quit -- it had been working fine until then. So I went back to BIOS and changed SECURITY back to SecureBoot Enabled. Now the sound works, but not the WiFi.
Presently, I am stuck choosing between having sound or having WiFi. Any ideas?
