I'm trying to install Fedora 28 on Windows 10 through Hyper-V.

I created a Virtual Machine through Action -> new virtual vm in Hyper-V manager. I tried with Generation 1 and Generation 2.

I choose "Start Fedora-Workstation-Live 28" when booting the VM. it displays few lines and then it is resizing the window and I have a black screen with few red pixels.

How can I investigate what is going wrong?

on the grub menu you can press e to edit the entry, navigate to kernel line and remove the rhgb and quite parameters to see more info while booting. you can also try and boot with nomodset

Hi, I have solve the problem just adding a grafical card to the virtual machine. in the configuration window go to 'new hardware' and select a 3D video adaptor. The names can change because I'm directly translating from spanish but I'm sure that you get the point.

The problem is in the Secure Boot. Instead of using New > Virtual Machine choose Quick Create, select your ISO, uncheck Secure Boot, and you are ready to go.
