Fedora 28 - RLT8822BE not working properly
Hi,
I have a problem with mobile wireless chip RLT8822BE by Realtek on my laptop (HP Probook 430 G5). The Wifi adapter is recognized but the connection is not stable and after few minutes it drops.
I have already followed different posts that I found here and I have already downloaded and compiled drivers from here https://github.com/lwfinger/rtlwifi_new.
The result of
lspci -nnk
is
> 02:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8822BE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WiFi adapter [10ec:b822]
Subsystem: Hewlett-Packard Company Device [103c:831b]
Kernel driver in use: r8822be
Kernel modules: r8822be, rtl8822be
Thanks in advance for all your suggestions.
Maybe a dumb suggestion; but ... since the rtl8822be should be supported in the kernel, remove the driver you installed and ..
That RT chip is for WiFi and BT. Turn your BT on, some WiFi functions won't work with BT off.
