Wireless Card not working
Just installed fedora 28 Workstation on a desktop computer a few minutes ago. Now I am trying to get the wireless network card to work. The device says it is a TP-Link Archer T4U. On a seperate machine with windows 10 I have verfied that the device works fine. However on the Linux machine it is if it is not even plugged in. This is the 1st time I have done anything with Linux, so a bit out of my league. Was hoping someone could tell me what I am missing, I am guessing a driver. And more importantly how do I fix this issue?
Hi, look at the casing of the card and check which revision is it (V1 - V3), depending on it, different drivers will be required.

Do you use Network-manager ?
OK I am looking at it & I sure the heck can not see anything about a revision number. At the top it reads TP-LINK AC1300 Wireless dual band USB adaptor. Then under that the next line reads Model:Archer T4U. Then below that reads ic:8853a-T4U next line down says fcc id:TE7T4UV2. For indoor use only then I have the serial number. Just to the side of the serial number it has CE1588 & made in china. But I don't se a revision number in any of that.
No I am not using Network manager. This card plugs into a USB port, no not sure your webpage is pertinent. But I did run the LSPCI command & the only device that says the words network is the Gigabyte NIC card. But that is the one built into the motherboard, and we are wanting to go wireless with things hence the card we got.
