1st time install of fedora 28 finds a goldstar 22" monitor but it really is a lg 19" monitor. Screen display shifted over on the left side and not showing 1 + characters. When I look at Devices it shows : Displays Goldstar 22" 1920 x 1080 AND under Color LG IPS FULLHD Monitor "ON" Can not go online as the wifi is not found. Broadcom BCM4352HMB.

Welcome to ask.fedora! The WiFi issue is separate and deserves a question of its own. However, before asking that question, use the Search function as there have been many questions over the years about Broadcom cards and one of them might have the answer you need. Good Luck, and please keep us informed about how things turn out.

It definitely sounds like a bug. If you can get to system settings > Devices > Displays, maybe you can find a resolution setting that'll work better? If you can get it installed, rebooted, and get your first (big) pile of software updates through GNOME Software, it might be a known bug that's already been fixed.
