asked 2018-08-17 04:44:47 -0500

Hi folks,

I have Fedora 27. Every time I try

sudo dnf install dnfdragora-gui I have the following error

Interrupted by header callback: Server reports Content-Length: 7885 but expected size is: 220342 [FAILED] python3-Xlib-0.19-2.fc27.noarch.rpm: No more mirrors to try - All mirrors were already tried without success I'm new to Linux. can someone tell me how to resolve this ?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you

Have you tried to clean dnf cache? Just try this:

sudo dnf clean all
sudo dnf install dnfdragora-gui

As you can see here, the package python3-xlib is not in Fedora's repository (anymore). It seems to be a dependency for dnfdragora (it's weird since it is supposed to be Documentation and examples for python-xlib).

When I attempt to install dnfdragora on my Fedora 28, it does not ask for that package.

Try clearing your dnf cache and install dnfdragora again: sudo dnf clean all && sudo dnf install dnfdragora

Moreover, if you allow one comment, the best way to learn Linux is using the command line. Fedora's dnf is a very good package manager - an attribute I wouldn't use dnfdragora.

dnfdragora-gui was renamed to dnfdragora-updater a while ago in fc27 as it did not provide any gui at all. The gui is provided by dnfdragora and still is. Thus, you have dnfdragore-gui from fedora and dnfdragora-updater from updates
