After I installed my NVIDIA drivers via the Software Store ( Manager) in F28, my XFCE desktop doesn't start.

Only GNOME desktop works.

If I uninstall the drivers, again via the Software Store (Manager), the XFCE desktop works.

If I boot in another version of the kernel (older) XFCE works, but the NVIDIA setting do not start.

Any suggestions how I can fix the above issues ?

2nd unplugged display may cause this. Check if there is 2nd monitor in video settings.

There is no second monitor. I've installed it on a old laptop and installed the XFCE desktop for a lighter expirience
