Fedora 28 TwentyEight Kernel: x8664 Linux 4.17.12-200.fc28.x8664 XFCE4 WM: Xfwm4 CPU: Intel Core i7-3770K @ 8x 3.9GHz

dmesg | grep micro [ 0.000000] microcode: microcode updated early to revision 0x1f, date = 2018-02-07 [ 0.515694] microcode: sig=0x30xxx, pf=0x2, revision=0x1f [ 0.515793] microcode: Microcode Update Driver: v2.2.

What does date 2018-02-07 mean? Is it February 7th, 2018? Or american way July 2nd, 2018?

Whenever the year comes first, whether it's the American system or otherwise, it should be YYYY-MM-DD or YY-MM-DD.
