I'm trying to write a kickstart file for Fedora 28 and I can't seem to get the storage configuration to work.

This is the same I would use in Cent OS.

Also - when I do an install of fedora and partition it how I want the anaconda.ks file at /root doesn't show the storage configuration like Cent OS would. Is this just something that doesn't exist in the newer version of anaconda?

ignoredisk --only-use=sda
bootloader --location=mbr
clearpart --all --initlabel
part /boot --fstype="xfs" --ondisk=sda --size=500
part pv.01 --fstype="lvmpv" --ondisk=sda --size=1 --grow
volgroup fedora pv.01
logvol swap --fstype="swap" --size=4000 --name=swap --vgname=fedora
logvol /var --fstype="xfs" --percent=20 --name=var --vgname=fedora
logvol / --fstype="xfs" --size=1 --name=root --vgname=fedora --grow
