Automatic ssh-askpass in KDE

When I installed Fedora Workstation and ran a GNOME session, if I attempted an SSH command that required an encrypted private key to be loaded into the ssh-agent, it would pop up a graphical password prompt automatically. I've since changed to KDE/plasma. In order to use the KDE version of ssh-askpass I need to type ssh-add ~/.ssh/my_key < /dev/null. Is there a way to make this happen on-demand like it works in GNOME?
