I get a kind of static noise everytime I'm loading something like images or when I do an update on the terminal and I can't seem to find the source of it. Any ideas? I come from ubuntu here where that didn't happen. The system sounds are also gone now.

Welcome to ask.fedora! Normally, I'd suspect that the issue is hardware related, such as a cable that isn't properly seated. Are you still able to boot into Ubuntu, and if not, can you boot from a live image, and see if sound works there? (I'm trying to eliminate simple answers here before going into software issues.) Also, it might help to know which desktop you're using, as some things depend on that. (If you don't know, or just used the default, it's Gnome.)

Happened right after I installed Fedora. Could be possible that it just happened to break at this exact time but yeah I'll download ubuntu and test it live. I'm also using GNOME.
