I was fiddeling with some options in order to get my Bluetooth going, and I messed sth up. There's no sound option available, there are no sound outputs.

pulseaudio -k E: [pulseaudio] main.c: Failed to kill daemon: No such process

pulseaudio --start E: [pulseaudio] main.c: Daemon startup failed.

Did you start pulseaudio system wide? ps ax | grep pulse and kill it with sudo kill

You can remove your user settings with these commands. I don't know if it will solve your problem, but it should regenerate new config files when pulse restarts

$ rm -rf /tmp/pulse* ~/.pulse* ~/.config/pulse $ pulseaudio -k $ pulseaudio --start
