Hello, I've been trying to get this sorted out for a while. Still doesn't work. I have a laptop with **Nvidia GPU(GTX760M)** and when I type in `nvidia-settings` it just pops the error in the title. It started appearing the last time i reinstalled the OS-F27. This is my last chance of fixing this problem.

Any help would be appreciated. Best regards.

Is your laptop a system with optimus technology (probably yes)? Do you wanna use nvidia gpu exclusively? Have you tried selecting Gnome on Xorg? I'm not sure how well wayland is supported by Nvidia proprietary driver.

I am running Gnome. Unfortunately after I try and switch to Xorg, I log in, get a black screen and then the login screen shows up again. I am looking to use the Nvidia GPU even if exclusively. Sorry for late response, I spent some time with my family since in my country its quite a big thing.
