wi-fi and Bluetooth not working

Hello there,

I am completely new to Linux world. I have chosen fedora 27 because i have seen that it is suitable to me.

now i want to know how to deal with it. i do not know how to turn on my wifi. i am now connecting with the cable and i want to solve this problem and the bluetooth either. any one help, Guys?!

Well, We need information about your machine (laptop, model...), and your hardware, please share it.



@Mo_Geek Thanks for the info; Well, you have a broadcom; You can to install broadcom-wl-dkms and broadcom-bt-firmware.

Install UnitedRPMS repository (Note: I recommend you NO mix with rpmfusion repository)

dnf -y install broadcom-wl-dkms broadcom-bt-firmware

@davidva one last thing please i am sorry for being confused but this is my first time with fedora and Linux generally. i came from windows background.

i have installed the rpmfusion repository before. now should i remove it and install the UnitedRPMS repos instead and then install broadcom-wl-dkms and broadcom-bt-firmware. or what??!!

No. If you already have rpmfusion, stick with it. The important thing is, don't use both, as they provide conflicting versions of the same packages.

The problem is still exist. NO wifi nor bluetooth

I have installed UnitedRPMS repo and broadcom-wl-dkms and broadcom-bt-firmware.

I do not know what kind of problem is that ??!!
