When I suspend and resume Fedora 27 KDE, I find that there is no internet access. I get notified about this error: do_IRQ: 5.37 No irq handler for vector

The only way I have found to re-enable internet access is to reboot. I first got this error with kernel version 4.15.3. It stopped for a while on 4.15.4, but returned with 4.15.6 - however, when I then tested 4.15.4 again, the problem was still there, so I don't know what to think whether it's a kernel bug or what.

Adding noapic to kernel boot parameters fixed this.

  1. Add noapic to GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX in /etc/default/grub (GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX="noapic")
  2. Run sudo grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg

This has stopped being a solution. This doesn't work anymore.
