Fresh install Fedora 27, battery drain when suspend

On previous fedora versions I could close the lid of my notebook and it went in suspend mode, this works the same on Fedora 27. The difference; in previous versions I could leave my notebook for a few days in suspend mode and there was some battery used. With Fedora 27 the battery is drained within a day.

So is this a bug? How can I troubleshoot this?

I've had a similar problem with my laptop. My battery is slightly damaged, so I believe that's the issue. I have ordered a new battery and will see if that fixes the problem.

For troubleshooting, charge your battery up to 100%. Remove it from your laptop (while turned off). Leave it for 24 hours somewhere where it won't be exposed to temperature extremes. If you need to use your laptop in the meantime, connect to the AC adapter. Reinsert the battery and see if it has drained appreciably. If it has, the battery is the issue. If not, the issue may be with either Fedora or a short in the laptop.

The battery or hardware of my laptop is not the issue. I have my Fedora 26 setup still under dual boot and tested last week the battery performance in suspend mode and there it works normally.

This also affects me, I also thought it was my half dead battery but I replace the battery and this is still of an issue. I close the lid and the laptop will drain half the battery in 2-3 days. This was not present with previous installations 26,25,24,23 and the same old half damaged battery, so fedora is the issue.
