Hello all. I'm having problem accessing a samba share on my rpi3 with CentOS installed. It is setup to allow anonymous login without credentials. On my Winblows 7 desktop, I have no problems. But on my Fedora 27 laptop, I get:

Unable to access location. Failed to mount Windows share: File exists

Tried googling around but found nothing helpful. Most likely it's something simple I'm just missing... Fresh install from earlier this morning, F27 workstation with Gnome3, worked perfectly on previous install. Connecting via Nautilus with smb://ipofserver/sharename , after this, it asks for credentials (anon or smb credential), after choosing anon, the error pops up.

Troubleshooting done:

Ran dnf update to update everything.

Checked samba and cifs-utils is installed.

Rebooted both host and server

Checked that it is not mounted (no entry in fstab either for automagic mounting)

Try this: in /etc/samba/smb.conf in section [global] add "client max protocol = NT1". See Bug 1474539
