I am using Gnome Shell and CairoDock which I like very much. I need to remove the bottom bar for the dock though since it is covering up most of it. Does anyone know of an extension or other way to do so?

If you are use "Gnome Twerk" possibly by mistake you activate "Windows list" Extension. Try again to open "Gnome Twerk" choose "extension" from left side panel and find "window list". As soon as you find it turn it off. If that's not helps you plz give as a print screen of your desktop.

I don't understand what you mean with the bottom bar covering most it. Covering what, the actually dock?

I recommend using Gnome extension Dash-to-Dock. It can look very nice and i's highly adaptable.

I apologize for not being clear. I do not know how to screen shot either for some reason. There is a bottom task bar that displays the windows that are open. I think the extension "Window List" is where it comes from but I have that turned off and it still persist. Any idea on how to remove all installed extensions?
