Hi,

i got a problem with cifs mounts. I mount several drives from Windows servers on a Fedora 26 servers. Now i noticed that the first folder in alphabetical order is not shown if i do an "ls" on the mounted windows share. It's not a hidden folder or anything else. It's a normal folder. And i also can access the folder. So a "cd" to that folder works fine and can see all the files. I do also a rsync from those mounted shares to another drive. Also with rsync, the first directory in alphabetical order is missing. All other folders are snyced correctly. That behavior i have for different windows servers and different fedora server. I have no idea, why that happens. It worked before so i happend after a update i think. I'm not sure, which one and when i happend.

The mount options are quit simple. For example

mount -t cifs -o username=xxx,password=xxxx -o domain=zzzz //server/d$ /mnt or with /etc/fstab //<server>/<share> /<mnt> cifs rw,noauto,vers=2.0,credentials=<file>,domain=<mydomain> 0 0

Nothing special there.

Has anyone an idea, what causes that strange behavior ?
