I tried to install prolog in fedora 26. I followed the steps in the following swi-prolog official website -

http://www.swi-prolog.org/build/Redha...

Here the setup steps till step 1 is fine and working correctly. But from Step 2 I am not able continue the setup, here Step 2 is given below -

% rpm -ihv --nomd5 https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org//p...

If anyone know about how it should be done then please let me know.

The step 2 you are having trouble with is not for installing SWI-Prolog (see the Package Page link higher on the page for that), but in instructions for "Building the RPM", i.e. building the package .rpm from which SWI-Prolog can be installed.

Various RPM downloads are available from the linked Package Page, depending on whether you want source or binaries for specific architectures). But as the earlier Answer points out, the packages are already in the Fedora Project repositories. Therefore, as noted in this earlier Question's answer regarding Fedora 24, all you need to type at a terminal is:

sudo dnf install pl

I just used this successfully (although I'm on Fedora 27).
