Laptop keyboard stopped working

Hi,

I have an HP Elitebook 8560p running Fedora27. It's been upgraded numerous times without re-installing. After a recent update, they keyboard and touchpad have stopped working. When I plug in a USB keyboard that works fine. I don't really use the touchpad as I have a USB mouse, which isn't affected. I assumed they keyboard was dead, but if I boot from a live CD, the laptop keyboard works just fine.

If I run libinput-list-devices the keyboard is listed.
