Using Fedora 27 (was true with Fedora 26 too), i'm not able to launch a Gnome Wayland session with the LightDM display manager. I have a choice between 3 Gnome entries, the third is "Gnome with Xorg". The first and the three spawn both an X server and the second is not choosable.

I am able to launch a Wayland session using GDM and by myself with

XDG_SESSION_TYPE=wayland gnome-session

The Official LightDM Website https://www.freedesktop.org/wiki/Software/LightDM/ claims Wayland is supported. Is there something special to configure inside /etc/lightdm/lightdm.conf or somewhere else ? Does it needs a special greeter ? ...

My main motivation in using LightDM is its multi-seat support.
