im having an issue with fedora 26 connecting to wifi.

Whenever i boot and try to connect to wifi i get the spinning wheel and a message saying no connections eventhough on another computer i am connected to wifi i am currently typing on that connected computer. I dont have access to an ethernet or a usb and when i run lspci i get 02:00.0 Network controller: Realtek Semiconductor Co., Ltd. RTL8821AE 802.11ac PCIe Wireless Network Adapter (rev ff) any suggestions?

UnitedRPMs, is working in a rpm for rtlwifi; you can test it check if works for you...

For now you need to download, compile and install from the kernel source.

Check https://github.com/rtlwifi-linux/rtlw...

You can try to build the module and load it with the following commands:

git clone https://github.com/rtlwifi-linux/rtlwifi-next
cd rtlwifi-next
make
sudo make install
sudo modprobe rtl8821ae
