How to enable EPEL repo?

My version is,

cat /etc/fedora-release Fedora release 26 (Twenty Six)

edit retag flag offensive close merge delete


As mention in the answer, you don't need epel for Fedora, maybe you'r talking about rpmfusion ?

You do not need EPEL repo if you using Fedora, Epel stand for Enterprice Linux which is done for Centos and Red Hat Linux.

Why you want to add Epel?

I wanted to add EPEL, because RPMFusion does not seem to contain pdfbooklet. But then I found an RPM here for F19, which still works for F28.

Yes, as mentioned above, EPEL repos are for RHEL/CentOS. If you're using Fedora you may be interested in RPMFusion that you can install by:

sudo dnf install -E %fedora).noarch.rpm -E %fedora).noarch.rpm

and then

sudo dnf update -y
