asked 2017-08-21 17:12:06 -0500

Im running fedora 26 dual boot with windows 10 on a gateway m6750 laptop, I have looked for the driver for the on-board wifi module but have had no luck. I have also bought a netgear wireless N-300 usb adapter (model number is WNA3100), I have had this same usb adapter work on Ubuntu a while back but i can not find a driver for fedora sadly. Any help is much appreciated!

If i need to give more info ill try too but thats just about all i know

Are you sure that you need to install a driver?! Doesn't they work already? Please give us the output of iwconfig and lspci -vnn | grep 'wifi\|wireless'

You can try ndiswrapper. I had bad luck with netgear's n-300 so go for wrapper...
