Since about a month abrt-xorg.service fails to start on my system (last time it worked on Jul 8).
Here are the logs:

$ systemctl status abrt-xorg --no-pager -l

abrt-dump-journal-xorg: Failed to read 'MESSAGE' field: Bad message
abrt-dump-journal-xorg: Cannot read journal data.

I ran journalctl --verify and few journal entries are corrupted.

How can I fix this issue? Can I delete corrupted journal entries? If so how to do this?
Is it normal that abrt-dump-journal-xorg refuses to start when some journal entry is corrupted or should I file a bug?

As far as I know, only solution would be to remove those corrupted journald files. Please post full output of journalctl --verify so we can see which are the ones that are corrupted. Those likely need to be deleted in order to resolve this issue with automatic bug reporting.

Just to verify, your system is completely up-to-date? All updates are installed?

I've deleted corrupted journal entries manually. abrt-xorg.service works correctly now. Yet still I don't think it should fail to start in the first place so I reported bug on Fedora's bugzilla.
